Did you ever think of all the laws governing the running of a sehool. of all the approxal and permission that has to he ohtained lrefore policy ean heeome a reality. Yes. it is with a deep sense of responsi- bility that the administration and faculty serve the school. Hours of time are put in by the administration in raising standards and in keeping the sr-hool up to the require- ments set hy the North Central association. The teacher plans lessons. attends meetings. 8 J u t Drifting goes to summer school and vontinually reads the latest'A hulletin in order to keep abreast of his sulmjeet. He has studied and studied hard before he 1-an r-ommunieate to you. And he spends hours in communieating and then hours in grading the effeetivem'ss of that eommunieation. But of eourse you as a student must also put forth effort. The administration plans testing programs. sets standards. plans eur- riculum and continually surveys his and other sehoolsmfalways with the intent to make the sf-hool lvetter.
