Every fall we begin our school year with the pleasant thought of summer fun still fresh in our memories — the friends we made, the gay parties we attended, those hot games of baseball and those wonderful days at the beach! Oh, what enjoy- ment we experienced from all these different a ctivities in just three short months of summer! But our delights need not cease just because school has begun. Occx flouwey Have you ever thought of our high school life as a fragment of a journey? Well, it is! Although our school days constitute only a small episode of this journey, they broaden our scope and lift our eyes to new horizons. For many of us the first new horizon will be college, for others their first real job, or their first home all their own, but what ever it may be you can be sure that our journey will not end even then. For there are other more distant horizons to strive toward and attain. As the editor-in-chief and business manager open that familiar east door through which you have passed so many thousands of times, they present to you, in the name of the Memories staff of 1952, this record of our school year. As you turn its pages they will help you recall this small segment of your journey.
