Take a long, long look at the char- acters that make up the story of H . H. S. Here are those favorite teach- ers who made class so interesting — the fellow with the sense of humor that kept the crowd laughing — the best pal with whom we enjoyed our high school days. Some of these peop- ple will be just fond memories in years to come. As we turn the fol- lowing pages let us recall memories of 1951, which make up our story.

The band portable . . . scene of the hours of practice that make possible our champion- ship bands. The locker room (Grand Cen- tral Station of Hobart High). Do you think all those kids will get through that little door? The walls are brown, but we call it the “Blue room” tra- dition you know . . . After their race to the cafeteria D. Leonard, J. Sansone, and W. Bussie race to see who can eat the most bread. C ? am.iii.an. Scene A busy hour in our well equipped machine shop . . . Don’t they look industrious? It’s time to go home! Those familiar yellow buses are a welcome sight at the end of a long school day
