Did you ever think of our school as a story? Probably not, but actually it has setting, characters, and plot. The setting is Hobart High itself — the familiar halls and classrooms, the portables and Brickie Bowl, the tree lined walk in front. The people of our school as they study, work, and play together are characters in an intricate plot. This plot has elements of excitement, achieve- ment, and just plain fun, for it involves the activities that we all enjoy. With this combination — the setting, the characters, and the plot we present the story of 1950-1951 in Hobart High School.
