c ? amiii.au Jaceb Here are some of the friendly folks who will remain in our memories as the background of our school days. Since they made the years at Hobart High more pleasant and safe, they are important characters in our story. Paul Sohn, the cop on the corner, keeps us safe during that noon hour rush. Emil Strom, the kindly old gentleman usually seen with his pipe and broom, is 72 years old, the oldest janitor on the staff and well known to all Hobart students. Mrs. Thomas Schroll, public librarian, has been a friend to Hobart students ever since she came to the library across the street in 1945. Herman Wesley, whom we will remember for his bright smile, has been in this school system longer than any other janitor. For 27 years he has been pushing his broom around Hobart High.
