Here they are . . . the students who led their classes during the year — Gordon Stech, freshman class pres- ident; Gail Bjerkness, sophomore class president; Ken- neth Chaney, senior class president; Dolly Pavlakovic, junior class president; Michael Matsey, eighth grade president. Do you recall how the year was started with the presidents guiding their classes . . . the seventh and eighth grades getting to know their way around . . . the freshmen with their eager glances . . . the sopho- mores with their look of know-how . . . the juniors prancing around to give the seniors a better-than-ever prom . . . and the high and mighty seniors strutting . . . they really were proud to be the first class in Hobart to take a cruise on Lake Michigan. 7
