Second Row: Jerry Doner, Linda Medford, Phyllis Wisener, Larry Foster, Donna McClure, Wanda Swartz. Back Row: Janet Osburn, Jerry Thompson, Gary Mohr, Robert Plescher. CLASS HISTORY In the year 1947, 32 eager, bright-eyed first graders started their journey through school. Our class remained the same for the first three years of school, and then, in the fourth grade, John Hadley joined our ranks. However, we lost Bill Badger and Pearl Albright that same year. In the fifth grade, we gained Kenny Prichard, but lost Linda Pugh and Bob Shively. We said fare- well to Merle McHugh in the sixth grade, and to three more classmates - John Hadley, Terry Adam, aand Nancy Sidle - in the seventh. At the end of the eighth grade, our class lost Dorothy Doner and Charles Ingman. During our Freshman year, no one left or joined us, but in the Sopho- more year, we lost Judy Claypool. Shelbyan Noggle entered our class at the first of our Junior year, but before school was out, Carl Sanderson moved away, and Judy Jenkins left us that summer. When we entered our Senior year, we picked our class motto, flower, and colors. Our motto is Victory is ours forever . Our flower is the Peppermint Carnation, and our colors are Scarlet Red and Crystal White. During this last year, the membership of our class has remained the same, and now 18 Seniors, still eager and bright-eyed, are looking forward to graduating aand receiving our diplomas, symbols of the years of hard work and preparation for the future.
