Willingness to work hard to reach a goal, a factor which has been instilled in the members of these departments, will remain as a part of their character throughout their lives.

7 W TOcu Undoubtedly lunch was the most eagerly anticipated period of THE YEAR THAT WAS. The mad rush started by each lunch bell might have made a visitor think the Olympics were not being held in Japan but in the halls of Hirschi. However, the meals, carefully pre- pared in the spotless kitchen and displayed within easy reach of the students, was well worth the rush.
