26 DANCE 2 The 1982 Homecoming Court reign as a bevy of Fair Ladies. A Night On Broadway On October Z 1982 a seeminghf ordinary evening in Darien, lllinois was turned into '34 Night on Broadway for a few magical hours. The 1982 Homecoming Dance was a smash hit for the Hinsdale South students. Decorations echoed the theme of the New York skyline throughout the room. Red white, and black streamers encircled couples. Decorations resembling piano keys sur- rounded Mirai the entertainment for the even- ing. As couples danced the street signs proclaim- ing Broadway could be found in various loca- tions.
