Pep And Spirit Two seats on the aisle, please. VWth those prime seats, Hinsdale South students were enter- tained with a variety of Broadway hits. The begin- ning of Homecoming Week began with banners decorating the hallways. Seniors won hrst place with their dazzling banner. Black and Gold Day on Tuesday was won by the Juniors, closely followed by the seniors. -Next on Wednesday, was the class competition '34pplause, Applause. Here, the seniors hnished hrst having done well in the events, such as the Mad Hatter and others. Under the Rainbow was the featured tug-o-war Students went formal on Thursday with Black Tie Day. Once again the Seniors took hrst followed by the respective classes. Staff members were even included in this competition. 0n Friday Roberta Duchak was crowned 0ur Fair Lady during the Pep Assembhr. Saturdays big events - began with Ease on Down the Road. The Sen- ior's float Bye-Bye Bulldogs took hrst place and the freshmen captured second place. Unfor- tunatehf, the varsity football game showed us that l?-B's Bulldogs' bite was worse than their bark. Finalhf, the fun-hlled week ended with '34 Night on Broadway, the semi-formal Homecom- ing dance. lt was dehnitehf a dramatic conclusion to a hit week.
