Team Needs Depth in Competition Hinsdale South's wrestling team started the year with only fifteen wrestlers. Due to this deficiency they have not been as good as they could be. Next year they are expecting to improve. MAY I PRESENT-Coach Bob Thomas introduces the wrestling team in a pep rally for winter sports.

ROW: Scott Vermoch, Mike Dvoracek, Bob Lee, Bob Sanda, Joe Swimmers Plan for Second Year The swimming team entered matches in the Des Plaines Valley Conference this season although they will not be considered in conference competition. Their win-loss record will be kept in the conference, however. They should be ready for regular competition in the second year of the school. Gymnastic team members are Jim Bocinsky, Mike Cahill, Rick Morkgraff, Paul Thurman, Jack Colby, and Coach Tony Canino. Six Compete in Gymnastics The six members of Hinsdale South's first gymnastics team competed on the sophomore level. According to Coach Tony Canino they did not have enough depth to perform up to their abilities in dual meets. Individually they were very strong. They hope to compete on the varsity level next year if they can develop the depth. Coach Canino hopes to fill the gaps with incoming freshmen. CHAMPIONSHIP $TYLF--Mike Cahill work on the rings. Mike was conference all around champion in gymnastics last year.
