CLASS POEM by Walter Rice Fond Memories We are the class of fifty-three What pleasing memories there ' ll be. From Hingham High now comes the day When each of us must go his way. Put out that foot and take that step The step that leads us to success; With faculty and friends the best, How could we fail to pass the test? Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors, too, Our best wishes we leave with you. May all your days at Hingham High Be as pleasant as ours gone by. Why did we think our books a bore? Look at the knowledge in our store. Now as we close, we join to say Good-bye to all, we ' re on our way.
