THE RGYAL CHOICE Miss T HI ' Mr. 8: Miss Hinds are Tyrone Allen and Romunda Battle. Tyrone is a native of Edwards who enjoys dancing, skating, reading, meeting new young ladies, and playing tennis. His future plans are to attend Alcorn State University and become a gynecologist. Romunda lives in Jackson. Her hobbies are cooking, reading, dancing, and biking. She plans to attend Xavier University and major in pre-medicine. The three runners-up to Miss Hinds AHS are Valerie Evans, third runner-upg Tammy Harris, first runner-up: and Renee Thomas, second runner-up. Valerie, a native of Bolton, enjoys dancing, singing, talking, and living her life the way SHE wants it to be lived. Tammy lives in Edwards. She enjoys babysitting, reading romance novels and socializing. Her plans are to attend Xavier University with a major in pre-medicine. Her ambition is to become a pediatrician. Renee, also of Edwards, enjoys dancing, singing and getting her point across. She plans to attend Jackson State University and major in mass communica- tion. All three young ladies anticipate bright, rewarding futures. 6
