There are many student organiza- tions at Hinds which were established on the principle that all students will get involved in some activity which will complement their chances to ad- just socially to the society of today. Through membership in these organi- zations, students have the opportuni- ty to develop special talents and skills, parliamentary procedure usage and leadership ability. The organizations are divided into three groups: aca- demics, special interests and athlet- ics.
