The relationships between man and his environment constitute the core of geography. Ability to interpret maps and familiarity with place geography are two skills stressed by Mr, Wood, He is discussing these skills with Milan Shifflette, Barbara Jacobson, Marilyn Manson, and Carol Davis, All youth need an understanding of scientific principles concerning man and his world, Glenn Zeiter, Milan Shifflette, Nancy Fouts, and Roger Petschke have set up an ex- periment in Physics to determine the mechanical advantages of the systems of pulleys. Mr, Saddoris is instructing Ieryl Morsch, Judy Bowker, Carla Haag- ensen, Jerry Larson and Carl Wass- man in the use of the Bioscope, an up-to-date method of teaching the study of living material. Because of the ease and speed of Bioscopic projection, more material can be shown and studied in a few weeks than was formerly done in months.

May I have this dance?' is what one might have heard Toby Watne ask Linda Wahlgren in the one-act play given by the Speech Class at Christmas time, Margery Whisler, Robert Anderson, and Shirley Pennington seem to be enjoying the dance, too, This course in Algebra has been designed to give training in mathematics as a part of general educa- tion.
