I-hstor N our freshman year we started our hxgh school career w1th Mr Mac Q I Donald and Mrs Jenklns as advlsors Q One of the hlgh spots of the year was the A 'Freshman Cru1se ' Our theme was Lx A fi ck. Harbor L1ghts and the gym was de J I corated nautlcally 1n blue and wh1te In our f1rst year of h1gh school we won f1rst prlze on class day for the second t1me havlng won 1n the elghth gra Our class song was to the tune of ' lf You Knew Sus1e ' CWHE next year as sophomores, We caused qu1te a commotxon when we rolled out the barrel to the ' Beer Barrel Polka ' and waved our beer mugs full of soap suds We were proud to present our flrst play and our second dance was very successful 1 A N 1952 we entered the new' Hllton Central School as Junlors It was a year of ach1evement At basketball games we sold candy and pop and made money toward our sen1or tr1p Before Chrlstmas we recelved our class rmgs on wh1ch we had changed the crest In March we presented our Juruor one act play Fmally the bxg event we had all looked forward to arrlved the Jumor Prom' We were very proud to have presented a successful f1rst Jumor Prom 1n the new school On class day we presented the Semors w1th the f1rst annual Semor Breakfast Later ln the day we had mov1ng up exerclses where we moved up mto the empty seats of the Senlors We were look1ng toward the future, to our Sen1or year' UR semor year was an event ful one We began by smashmg all school records 1n our magazme sales Then we had our hxghly suc cessful Semor Play In December our class njoyed g1v1ng 1ts f1na1 dance, the Semor Ball At Easter tlme, we traveled to New York for the hlghhght of the year, the Seruor Tr1p All dur1ng the year, w1th eyes to the future, we dec1ded upon what college to attend or a des1red Job Then w1th a mmxture of Joy and sadness, ln June came ,,,,,,,, graduat1on 29 O .
