Most boys and girls learned how to play baseball, basketball, and soccer The boys learned how to play football, while the girls learned how to dance. In home economics the girls were taught to make clothes and cook meals. In shop the boys learned how to make a few metal articles and furniture. Some art students sent away for different articles which they decorated by carving and painting.
