lg -l . i Creative Talents Revealed Different creative talents were given free rein by stu- dents who chose art or dramatics as an elective. Often both departments worked together in the production of plays. Poster Club, new this year, boosted school spirit with colorful and eye-catching posters. Many after school hours were spent by these students who discovered the club opened doors to fun and service. bl But I didn't steal your sheep! exclaims shepherd Ben Cassel to innkeeper David Brumley. Candy Smith, his wife, listens to the conversation in the play, Song of the Night. Hmmm, a little bit more red lipstick, Betty I-linman decides as she makes up Lorna Sinclair for a play. Ferocious lions would make any- one restless! Marilyn Rose and Margie Klein put finishing touch- es to wild beasts used the play, The Natives Are Restless. 5, W. Energetic Marcy Lincoff puts up a pep ribbon poster while Trish Rogers assists with the nec- essary tape. Drum major Alan Grant and baton twirlers Jenne Latislaw, Candy Lesher, and Cheri Phillips stepped off the marching cadence in parades. Practicing on their own time after school, the Stage Band played for fun as well as at PTA meet ings. , I ,. Q. . The orchestra offers string students opportunities to play and learn together. The Mixed Glee Club, under the direction of Mrs. Mary-Lynn Deddeh, performed at the Christmas program, district and county festivals, and at the spring concert.
