With a new coaching staff working hard and the players even harder, a new system was installed in a matter of a few short weeks. The Lancers, with 12 returning lettermen and many fine players up from the jV, have high hopes of a Metro League championship. The football team started the season with a bright outlook as it ran away from Mission Bay in a pre-season scrimmage to ready them for the season.
