lluest for Knowledge Acting as the framework for the mosaic is the administration, the faculty and our own student leaders, These people serve as the impetus to set our generation in motion. By answering questions, expressing personal views, and promoting inquisi- tiveness among students, the administration aids us in developing our own ideas and beliefs. ln addition to school leaders, we have also selected as patterns young men and women in other facets of life as pace setters for this fast moving genera- tion on the go. ln the political spotlight, such fig- ures as Ted Kennedy and John Lindsey are spoken of often among the younger generation, leaders in the world of music, novels, and entertainment in- clude Bob Dylan, J. D, Salinger, and Herb Alpert. Personalities in both school and worldly life with drive and initiative maintain the tempo of this enthusiastic generation on the go. After the framework has been erected, the mosaic requires fundamental materials for its groundwork. Academics furnish these mosaic properties at Hill- top. ln the classroom, each individual becomes more informed in all aspects of life and thus un- ravels many answers to his own questions. Through responsiveness to this academic aura and the pursuit of questions of meaningful existence, we expose our mental alertness, curiosity, and aware- ness, characteristics of a generation on the go. This generation's participation in rallies, speeches, and political affairs vividly demonstrates these characteristics, Thus, another segment of the mo- saic is formed.

As the mosaic must have color to attain aesthetic appeal, our viva- cious generation must be furnished with some diversion from the men- tal strains of classroom work, The brilliant and vibrant colors of the broken fragments ot the mosaic are symbolic ot the variety of activities available at Hilltop. Athletics, or- ganizations, and other miscellane- ous activities play a vital role in providing this color for campus life. The desire for challenge and adven- ture, a feature of this generation on the go, is satisfied by these di- versified activities. 6
