I js , MIIME IS The days and weeks seem to have flown by as we look back on the 1964 school year. Whether we were Sopho- mores, Juniors, or Seniors, the year was composed of incidents that will re- main forever in our memories. As Hill- toppers leaf through the IDYLL, the pic- tures will recall times of admiration, relaxation, and tradition, that is, IDOL, IDLE, and IDYLL MOMENTS. Playing on our emotions, IDOL MO- MENTS remind us of those occasions filled with happiness and ecstacy when we were in the limelight, as was Mr. Clarke when he presented a one man singing performance. Or, of the des- pair we felt as we passed the library and acknowledged in mournful silence the flag flying at half-mast after the death of one of our IDOLS - the President of the United States. IDLE MOMENTS include those times of forced relaxation and anticipation as the J.V. football team, along with the spectators, awaited the execution of the next play. IDYLL MOMENTS bring re- collections of the pride that we had for Hilltop as we viewed the front of our home away from home around which most of our activities were centered. They also summon to mind the mirth and enjoyment of the traditional field events of Tournament Day and the mud-slopped faculty members. Remembering those IDOL, IDLE, and IDYLL MOMENTS creates other emo- tions that can stem only from the high school years spent at Hilltop. 1
