GIRLS' VICE-PRINCIPAL MRS. DOROTHY BURNS As Girls' Vice-Principal, Mrs. Dorothy Burns has the lpportunity to work with many of the girls at Hilltop. She lssists them in their school problems and offers many valu- ible suggestions for a future vocation. Mrs. Burns serves as co-advisor for the California Scholar- hip Federation and advisor for Girls' League. As Editor if the daily bulletin and coordinator of the club doughnut ales, this woman is certainly kept busy. Here Mrs. Burns and Mr. Geyer are seen as they cordially converse with each other con- cerning our new adaptive room. BOYS' VICE-PRINCIPAL MR. ROBERT GEYER Mr. Robert Geyer, who acts as Boys' Vice-Principal, is 1 charge of approving the members of the athletic teams nd other school-elected positions. MR. FRED N. MAHONEY PRINCIPAL PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE This has been a year of reaching goals and realizing dreams of our first two years. You students have accepted all challenges earnestly and willingly. You have exhibited justifiable pride in your school and set up enviable standards. Hilltop High School has rapidly taken its rightful place as one of the leading schools in this area because of your efforts. To you of the class of l962, you have lived up to the high promise held for you these past three years. Many of your members have received high individual honors, and your achievements as a class have been excellent. These will become a part of the heritage of our school. The high standards you have set and the fine spirit that has character- ized your class will have lasting effects upon the future students of Hilltop High School. I offer my best wishes and congratulations to you and feel personal regrets that you will be leaving us. To the juniors and sophomores, there has never been a more challenging time for well-prepared students than the present. Next year as you carry to fruition the promise that you have shown this year, you will be preparing yourselves to become capable citizens with well-trained minds which our country so urgently needs.
