In 1953-54, Hillside High School was expanded to include a cafeteria, additional classrooms, and laboratories. The extra-curricular pro- gram was incorporated into the school day as a regular branch ot education. Faculty and students had a chance to share hobbies and interests. Jack himself required growing space in order to test his talents and to discover a practical outlet tor his skills and knowledge.
