All of us at Hillsdale have tried, in our several ways, to teach you how this is true; I believe that you have understood well and that you have learned Well. DEDICATION MISS DORIS SHELLBERG Some people achieve excellence through long and devoted hours of work and study; in others it exists as the natural state of a gifted mind. When these are combined in one person as is the case with Miss Shellberg wonderf1i1 things begin to happen. The Harvest Fair becomes a possibility; the Miracle Play takes on a fuller splendor; every school project is given diligent and creative attention. To those of us who have known Miss Shellberg in art classes, her vast knowledge and understanding of her subject have been a source of growing inspiration. Her incalculable patience and skillful guidance have pulled us successfully through countless crises where either hard work or artistic advice have been factors. It is with much gratitude and affection that we, the Class of 1962, dedicate our annual to Miss Doris Shellberg. '
