To start off the musical activities, the A Cappella Choir went to Cal. for the traditional morning of song, after which they were guests of the University at the football game. Preparing for the Ron Arrillaga Christmas Benefit and perfecting music for the Olympics took up the remainder of the first semester. The trip to Squaw Valley was truly a memorable one for the A Cappella Choir. Our Orchestra was also very active. Many of its members were present at the District Festival and the entire organization took part in both the Spring Concert and the Music Festival. Early this spring, the string orchestra presented a program and demonstration at San Jose State College.
