Al' Chrislmas lhe sfudenls presenled fheir annual Chrislmas Pageanl lo lhe school and lhe P.T.A. I+ was lhe firsl lime fhe red and blue of l-lillsdale's robes had been seen in public. Our school was well represenled in 'rhe Dislricl Fesfival in February. One hundred +wen+y sludenls were senl as an example of our musical abilily. ln March we were ably represenled in lhe Bay Area Secfion Music Feslival and in April al' ihe San Jose Slale Spring Concerl, by our band, orcheslra, and choir. The year was concluded wilh a June Spring Concerf in which 'rhe band and choirs performed, lo lhe delighl of lhe communify. Our school dance band was noi idle during 'lhe year. They played al lhe San Maleo A.G.S. Spring Formal and our swim show, as well as al many ofher evenls. The Music Club also spenl a busy year selling Knighl Boolzs, and assisfing lhe Music Deparlrnenl by acling as guides and worlring sfands during lhe Elemenlary and Junior High Fesiival which was held a+ Hillsdale. We owe a vole of lhanlrs lo our Music Deparlmenl, under fha direclion of Mr. Duke Carnpagna and Mr. Reber?
