Although the Associated Boys Students has not undertaken many proiects this year, the activities it has sponsored have been enioyed by those who participated in them. The A.B.S., with Dick Nichol. Jim Creighton, Ken Nussbaum, and Slcip Redman as its tall otticers, sponsored the A.B.S. Fun Night. Held in the gyms, this tirst activity ot the school year provided a chance tor students to renew old triendships and make new ones. Interesting assemblies were also presented by the A.B.S. Car racing and stereophonic sound were among the topics discussed during these programs. Service projects were also sponsored by the A.B.S. The purchase ot the baseball pitching machine, and the co-financing ot UlieDieter Filipp, our foreign exchange student. were both undertalren this year. Pete Barizon, Jim Nesbitt, John Jaeger, and Bruce Darnley were the spring otticers. Waiting on tables at the GAA. banquet was among the many activities planned tor the spring semester. 51
