Practice for the lO's and 20's opened within a few days of the start of school. New personalities had little time in which to get acquainted. A week and a half later practice games against Serra netted a win for the 2O's. For us the season 'opened at home on October 4th versus South San Francisco with games which could have gone either way. The lO's were lust nosed out by 2 points and the 20's by 4 points. At Menlo Park, a practice game gave everyone a chance to play. The first league encounter away from home matched us in track-like games with Burlingame, with the hosts winning both contests. Our last practice efforts, with Lincoln of San Jose, proved a onesided victory for the 2O's. Hosting San Mateo, we dropped both hard fought games, each by 6 tallies. A double victory ot Half Moon Bay was followed by 6 and 7 point losses to Carlmont. Improvement against Westmoor, Jefferson and Capuchino produced an upset victory for the lO's over Jefferson. All three contests were easy victories- for the 2O's. GOLF EAM wi f.,. V-, - l FRONT ROW L TO R: Stan Reiscll, John Egbert, Gary Hardy, Bob Bendinelli.
