ays with Music and Marching Hillsdale band members, like the football squad, started getting back in shape before school started for the year. The band practiced marching drills and music for the football season. No matter what the thermometer registered, the band always showed up to support the team and to perform at half-time. The concert band was moved into a higher com- petition classification, B - 2. Activities included rehearsal for the concerts which were performed and also many hours of practice in preparation for the district contest held at Mansfield Senior High School on March 11. The band received a II or excellent rating. Often known as the treble voices of the band are the clarinets. FRONT ROW, Left to Right: Cheryl Fulk, Linda Anderson, Carol Atterholt, Karen Shaver.
