ays with Music and Marching Hillsdale band members, like the football squad, started getting back in shape before school started for the year. The band practiced marching drills and music for the football season. No matter what the thermometer registered, the band always showed up to support the team and to perform at half-time. The concert band was moved into a higher com- petition classification, B - 2. Activities included rehearsal for the concerts which were performed and also many hours of practice in preparation for the district contest held at Mansfield Senior High School on March 11.
