Mx ,WEQ Drama Students Perform One Acts A Drama class was begun for the Spring semester with Geri Ann Ross as the instructor. Eleven students per- formed in one act plays, pantomimes, humorous duet and learned the basics of acting. They presented The Ugly Duckling, The Marriage Proposal and Ledge, Ledger and the Legend. Rallies Encourage Pep, Enthusiasm ' H 'M Pep Rallies were held prior to home basketball games to get Saints' fans in the mood for yelling at the games. Organized by the cheerleaders, the rallies were held in the gymnasium on the afternoon of the games and were attended by students, faculty and staff, as well as the basketball coaches and team. Saints' Spirit Scars as cheerleaders lead S-P-L R,-I-T ! Cheerleaders initiate enthusiam of fans entering the gym. Saints' fans crowd the gym for a basketball season kickoff pep rally.

Main purpose for the group was to build character and stabilize young preachers to go into all the world and preach the gospel, according to Jack Richey, faculty sponsor. President Jerry MacArthur, Vice President Gene Godby and Secretary Treasurer Dwain Crosby led the group in activities such as a Day of Prayer for all students and preaching oppor- tunities.
