At HCC 80 music majors plus hun- dreds of non-majors learn music in the new Performing Arts Building with its many studios and labs. The department presents 25 faculty and student concerts during the year. In addition to its fine chorus, the department has a flute and a woodwind ensembles and a jazz band.
