Baseball team ranked Number Two in nation as the number one squad in the state but it ? ended the year as the number two team in the nation. Under Coach Lou Garcia the team played 24 games and went to state. Pitchers in- clude Ioe Collins, Harry Linn, Maurice Barrentine, and Mark Williams. Leading hit- ters are Rod Carraway, Marty Garcia, Larry Reasonover, Craig McGraw and Dennis Valdes. Collins and Reasonover were drafted by the major leagues in Ianuary but elected to finish school.
