Fri- day evening in the school auditor- ium before a large and apprecia- tive audience. The play proved to be another hit for director Robert Satterfield and his associates, assistant direc- tor Mary Jane Fling, business man- Play ager Barbara Fenner, and seniori players. . A comedy concerned with the seemingly disastrous results of the magic tricks of a high school age magician, Bob Parker, most convincingly portrayed by Hugh Buie, the play progressed and smoothly due to a nz . . l C good performance of its -P A number ol the cast ' i' ie previous experience as actors and actresses in the junior play, which may have accounted for their pro- fessional performances, but at any rate the roles at the entire cast of the play were well played and aid- ed in the realistic and humorous presentation of the story. X KENNETH nousu, as Mr. Park-A er, Susan Morris, as Mrs. Parker, Wins Plaudils ol Audience paroni and Marilyn Hiestand as were the plainclothes man, Perin Johnson, and Miss Bright, Bonnie Ruggles. Clever staging and attractive costuming were a complement to aron Shannon as Bett and John'a play well adapted to youthful Sh y Rittenhouse as Dickie completed the hero's family. resentation resulting in a pleas lp . ing comedy convincingly portray- Ann Pulse was a riot as Gwenved and captivating the audience Anderson, Dickie Parkers girl Friday. Melinda Miller was a liv- ing and breathing Louella, the family maid. and James Jordan was the difficult-to-get-along-withl Mr. Abcrnaker, high school prin- cipal, the victim of some of Bob Parker's magic failures. Prelude and interlude music was presented -by the higi school orchestra, under the direc tion of George C. Miller.
