61444 lfutoty We began our lourney through hugh school un the fall of 1951 when 43 frughtened students mounted the steps to the B assembly of Hullsboro Hugh School As the tourney contunued, we decuded leaders were needed so we elected Mary Lou lxuntz, presudent John Lundgren, vuce presudent Ruchard Jahr secretary treasurer, wuth Mr James Holo as our class advuser Our representatuve un the student councul was James Anderson Kung and queen carnuval candudates were Davud Kruse and Helen Stenberg Mary Lou Kuntz was chosen by the student body of Hullsboro Hugh School as cheerleader Our lournev contunued the followung fall wuth 41 un the sophomore class We were guuded through thus duvusuon of our travels by Thomas Vettel presudent Larry Thompson vuce presudent Anne Shafer, secretary treasurer, and Mr James Holo, class advuser James Anderson and Lous Sputtler represented our class un the Student councul Our superuors, the uunuors, prepared our way unto senuor hugh school by way of unutuatuon The class elected Anne Shafer as homecomung attendant Our class sold the most trckets and as o reward Roselyn Suegert and Russell Waters reugned as the kung and queen of the carnuval What another year so soon? Yes, and we are the tunuors now, wuth 37 present Our secretary Paulune Savereude, treasurer and Mr Donald Muller class advuser Brad Brakke Muke Vunyon Lous Sputtler and Aluce Mollerstrom represent our class un the student councul On carnuval kung and queen are Bryan Dahlstrom and Aluce Mollerstrom Paulune Savereude homecomung attendant We put on three one act plays Swept Clean off Her Feet The Hangung of Uncle Dulby, and Balcony Scene, under the able durectuon of Mrs Oscailohnson After many months of preparatuon, we presented a beautuful prom un honor of the graduatung class of 54 We have now reached the last lap of our travels the end us un sught We are a class con sustung of 35 senuors To lead us we elected Lorna Hunkung, presudent Jerome Stoska, vuce presudent, Joan Pauls, secretary, Davud Kruse, treasurer, and Mr Lawrence Nylordet, class advuser Brad Brakke Aluce Mollerstrom, Muke Vunyon, and Bryan Dahlstrom represent us un the student councul Paulune Savereude and James Tate were elected as kung and queen candudates for the carnuval The Lettermen s Club selected Mary Lou Kuntz as homecomung queen We put out the paper, School Daze, every sux weeks and presented the play Tattletale And now we oegun our longest lourney on whuch we shall put to good use the thungs learned un these past years When we receuve our duplomas we wull be on our way to prove that we can apply the knowledge gauned 24 o . .
