SCHOOL LIFE School life undoubtedly leaves the most meaning- ful impression upon us as we come to understand THE AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE. School life is not just merely a daily routine, but a most unique phase of our youth. It includes not only regular classes and assemblies, but also clubs, service com- mittees, and socials. One is always free to choose the way in which he wishes to manage his school life. Whether it be through pep rallies, games, dances, or service to the community, each student acquires a separate feeling which makes him proud to say that he is a part of Hillsboro. Each one of this institution has a noted advantage toward mak- ing his school life more meaningful. The more one participates in his school life, the better he will be prepared for participating in THE AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE.

Academic life is the mainstay of American education. At Hillsboro, one is introduced to the most modern and efficient methods of teaching. Here a student may enroll in a modern math course, an experimental chem- istry course using a Well equipped laboratory, American history and biology courses with supplementary teachings through the facilities of educational television, excellent language courses with a laboratory for the further de- velopment of the conversational languages, valuable business courses, and even vocational courses, making use of a fine shop.
