Modern Language Tau ht bv Tape Hillsboro is very fortunate to be the school in Davidson County where a language laboratory is now in use. Primarily due to the untiring physical and mental efforts of Miss Margaret Batey, Miss Alina Phillips and Mrs. Dorothy Davis, this new facility has enhanced the speed and prohciency with which the students learn to speak French and Spanish. The growing interest in these two modern languages has resulted in the addition of advanced courses, as well as the continuation of the regular four years of Latin, which has been a part ofthe language curriculum for a number of years.
