But as We form new memories in our later life, we 6 will 1lOt forget those of our school days at Hillsboro. School spirit, student body elections, the Prom, basketball tournaments, and Teachers will just fade into the background of our minds to become SIL HOUETTES of our youth.

I It is with a deep sense of appreciation that this year's HILLSBURRO is dedicated to a man who is known and admired not only as a teacher, coach, and counselor, but even more as a true friend. As a coach, Mr. Harris's outstanding character has won him the praise and respect of the opposition as well as his own team. His interest in the students and popularity wtih them is exemplified by his work as student council sponsor. During Mr, Koen's absence, Mr. Harris's versatility is further shown when he serves very capably as principal. The student who has a problem or needs advice often turns to him for counsel and aid. Even those who have no connection with him other than seeing him in the hall are aware of his smile and friendly greeting. Mr. Harris has truly cast his shadow upon many lives at Hillsboro.
