l I Foreword The seconds have passed into minutes, the minutes into hours, the hours have blended into days, days which have crystallized to form our unforgettable experiences at Hillsboro. A voice, a chuckle, a friendly smilefthese mo' mentos encompass the ecstasy of our senior year. This has been a time of aspiration, expectation, mo' mentary failure, and finally, a reward for the un' daunted-the sweet smell of success. As we have strived for success, so has the world about us. This was the year in which melody ref turned to music, when La Pizza and crew neck sweaters were the rage and when Mike Todd took 6 us Around The World In 80 Days . Sputniks and missles were sent into space, unemployment rose to five and onefhalf million and it was a dark day in Mudville when the Bums forsook Brooklyn. As we walk down the corridor of time, we are able to say that our final year at Hillsboro was a period of surprise, a year of grandeur, and a time of perception. On graduation as we are asked to ref ceive our diploma, there is a pause, blissful yet nos' talgic, as we recall the last melodious minutes of the prom, the tenseness of a crucial game. We say goodfby, not to an edifice, but to Hillsboro, our Alma Mater, for this is-fAS WE HAVE LIVED.
