dedication A dream came true for Hillsboro this year when the Fathers' Club and Parent-Teachers Association made it possible for us to have a full-time student counselor. Mrs. George May- field, who retired from the academic classroom last year, was ideal to fill this need. The entire student body, especially the Senior Class, is indebted to her. As a member of the student body, as a member ofthe Senior Class, or as an individual, each one of us has felt deeply the influence of her wisdom and her interest in us. Mrs. Mayfield has long been a first! She was the first teacher to offer a course in family relations at Hillsboro and sponsored Hillsboro's first clinic staff. As a biology teacher her influence has been far-reaching. As much as Hillsboro itself, she has been our fostering mother. Very sincerely and grate- fully we dedicate this record of our last year at Hillsboro to Mrs. George Mayfield. MRS. GEORGE MAYFIELD
