Jodie Bibb, after being presented with flowers and honored by music, was escorted during the remainder of the half-time activities by drum maior Bill Gerth. CLUB Andrew Grisham, Billy Wilson, David Meyer, Harold Kornman, David Glenn, Earl Hardy, Ronald Sykes, Fairman Cumming, Mrs. George Mayfield--sponsor, Larry Stearns. Although the study of science covers many different fields, the program of the Science Club is built to include the interests of all the members. The club sponsored the annual Westinghouse Science Talent Search. Each entry prepared his own science proiect, many of these were presented in Science Club meetings. Andrew Grisham showed his home-made telescope, Fairman Cumming explained his wild-life survey, and David Glenn brought his steam-engine. AMATEUR RADIO CLUB Composed of young radio enthusiasts, the Amateur Radio Club explained the operation and mechanics of simple radio equipment to its members. Reports were given at the club meetings on different phases of radio transmitting and receiving, and practices were held for inexperienced members wishing to learn Morse code.
