Through the generosity of the Belmont Methodist Church the Hillsboro l l Choir was able to hold classes in the gymnasium of the Methodist Youth Center. During the December holiday season, the choir participated in the school program, a radio broadcast, and the county wide Christmas concert held at the War Memorial Building. In the spring special choruses were sung in the grammar schools of the Hillsboro area. Hillsboro was represented in the State Choir and at the Middle Tennessee Chorus Fes- tival at Clarksville. Y-fll'lElENS CLUB Promoting friendship and understanding toward people of all religions, races, and nationalities was the ob- iective of the Y-Teens Club. The club upheld these obiectives by sending Christmas packages to Korean children.
