The first game was against -Ioelton, and the Burros won def cisively by a margin 31 to 27. The next night the boys battled with topfseeded Antioch and showed skill and team work in scoring one basket after another thus completely baffling their opponents. Wayman Wiiiters led the way to the 41 to 22 victory by making 21 points. The A. E. Wright combine which entered the semifinals was closely matched with its opponent DuPont. Captain Dick Cummings played one ofthe best games of his career only to see his team outclassed by a fast working DuPont quintet.
