xears but he xxe gratefullx acknoxxledge IS among the fexx of us that xolunteered for an extra term
Being chrldren of great dest1nx xxe haxe xxltnessed the greatest ex ents of all hlstorx ln our four x ears D1Ck

and on the g1rls basketball team Nancy Pearre and Dorothx Turner xxere txxo of Mr Hessex s gals Both
Martha Tr1bble and Grace S1ms recerxed degrees of ment for forensic xxork an honor rarelx accorded

that slammed the1r lockers for the last t1me as freshmen and opened the doors to the relief of summer and

Albert Schroeder xxas elected class pres1dent vxhrle Mrs Stroh and MISS Pogue serx ed as class sponsors
Our Sophomore xear xx as one of achrex ement and acttx 1tx oe Austtn Earl Dunn and Albert
Schroeder donned the1r broad shoulders and shone on the football team xxhxle Charles Embrx bhstered
the hope for our class on the basketball team We all remember the school electron near the close of the
xear xxhen ud Randolph xx as chosen Student Bodx Marshall He xxas the first Sophomore elected to
serxe durlng his umor xear IU that office h1therto held bx a Senior On the mus1cal s1de Carolxn Schubert
strutted to a superior ratxng as mayorette and jxmmx Enoch responded to the rhy th'n ln h1s bones 1nd
gaxe out vxxth the pxe to our ears Martha Tr1bble hung our honor xx1th the highest bx xxmmng hrst
place 1n the dramatic readmg section of the tr1 state forensic meet held at Peabody College And xx tsn t

Albert johnson represented the school in the House of Representatxxes of the Student Congress and xx as
