Homecomin '75 The 1975 Homecoming Festivities got under way with Stunt Night on Thursday, October 2, 1975 at 7:30 p.m. The evening began with the crowning of the King and Queen. Halfback Tim Hubbard was King and Nancy Kouba was Queen. Senior Repre- sentatives were Lori Machovec and Bill Kelbel. Dor- othy Dolezal and Chuck Housner represented the Jun- ior Class. Terri Hammer and John Nachtigal were the Sophomore Representatives. Freshman Repre- sentatives were Beth Knower and Mike Barz. The stunts consisted of twelve skits presented by classes and organizations. The high school cheer- leaders took first with their skit. Second place went to the junior high cheerleaders. The Class of '76 took third place . After a lot of red tape the seniors built the bonfire as usual. Because of the new federal ruling about school attendance the seniors were not allowed to build the bonfire during school ho11rs as in previous years. So, the seniors were ambitious and started collecting 'junk' on the week-end before the bon- fire. To get the bonfire completed on time the sen- iors started at 4:30 a . m . on Thursday. Another hassle that the seniors had was the ques- tion of whether they would be allowed to burn wood. The school board finally decided to let the seniors burn wood and the bonfire was successful.
