,.. MW . . 5 4 H The homecoming week began with the building of the floats and the writing of the skits. On Thursday of Homecoming week, the seniors collected the wood for the bonfire , The bonfire slowly grew larger from the morning til night. On Thursday night, Stunt Night, Melanie Boston was crowned the 1974 Homecoming Queen, and Rudy Rott was crowned Homecoming King. The Cheerleaders lead cheers, and groups presented their skits. First, second, and third prizes were awarded for the three best skits. Then everyone rushed out to the bonfire to cheer. On Friday afternoon, the junior high band twisted its way through the town leading the floats, cheerleaders, court members, and finally the senior high band. The first prize float was the Juniors' We Butterfly to a Vic- tory. The second prize was the FFA's Time is Running Out for the Trojans. Third prize went to the Seniors' We'1l Toad Them Off! The dance was held on the Saturday night following the game. The band was PRIMO. The members of the court were as follows: King Rudy Rott and Queen Melanie Boston, Senior Representatives Greg Durkee and Jan Erlandson, Junior Representatives Gary Stanek and Nancy Kouba , Sophomore Representatives Tom Bladl and June Potter, and Freshman Representatives Francis Kracjo and Ann Novacheck.
