The team proved the depth of their pride by recovering from early losses and going on to out-hustle taller teams. In recognition of their efforts, John Liska was chosen first team all-con- ference by an unanimous vote, Matt Stanek made second team all-con- ference missing first team by only one Terry J indrick Center 23 points BASKETBALL TEAM EARNS RECORD vote, and Steph Havlik received hon- orable mention. Bestowing its own honors, the team named John Liska MVP and captain-elect. He earned these honors by leading the confer- ence in scoring with 314 points, and by leading the Tigers in rebounding and steals. John had 232 rebounds and 73 steals.
