“
And an Astronomer said, Master, what of Time? And he answered: You would measure Time the measureless and the immeasurable. You would adjust your conduct and even direct the course of your spirit according to hours and seasons. I Of time you would make a stream upon whose bank you would sit and watch its flowing. Yet the timeless in you is aware of Life's timelessness, And knows that yesterday is but today's memory and tomorrow is today's dream. And that that which sings and contemplates in you is still dwelling within the bonds of that first moment which scattered the stars into space. Who among you does not feel that his power to love is boundless? And yet who does not feel that very love, though boundless, encompassed within the centre of his being, and moving not from love thought to love thought, nor from love deeds to other love deeds? And is not Time even as love is, undivided and paceless? But if in your thought you must measure Time into seasons, Let each season encircle all the other seasons, And let today embrace the past with remembrance And the future with longing. -Kahil Gibran 2 R. l lf fs fe f'2It'j ' i' ..-- -E 'E 0 0117 x' XZAIQW' 'Wil Rl HRS A ' 6 X , I .1 R Q K As Viewed Bg The 1972 Annual Qlaff CO-EDITORS Dennis Carpenter Dennis Novy COPY-EDITOR - Phyllis Anderson SECRETARY - Joanne Kahler TREASURER - Wanda Markee BUSINESS MANAGER - Ralph Novy PHOTOGRAPHER - Greg Braithwaite HILLSBORO HIGH Hillsboro Wisconsin TABLE OF CDNTENTS Prom ............. . . 6 Adminisiraiion-Faculig .... . . SENIOR CLASS PLAY All the color and zest of an old time Wild West Show came to the stage as the Class of '72' presented: ANNIE GET YOUR GUN NOV, 5 and 6, 1971 Annie is always Annie - completely natural and loveable as she attempts to win over that handsome shatpshooter, Frank Butler. The Buffalo Bill Wild West Show comes to town and challenges any local person to a shooting match. This match sets Annie up against Frank. Annie won the match, but discovered you can't get a man with a gun. There was charm, humor, and excitement, as the cast brought back the flair of the West as they per- formed their version of Annie Get Your Gun, ' ' X C Cast The Class of 1972 presented Zml-15iia1Lffime1Y Iiased sn the Pig gi After many long hard hours of selecting, 5 Y ynn lggs' W1 musl Y tryouts, practice, singing, and dancing the Rodgers and Hammerstein.
