OUR PRINCIPAL MR. RICHARD O. BOUDREAU Only four years ago you entered Hillsboro High School. In those four short years have come many changes - new teachers, a new principal, a new building, an improved curriculum, new friends, added responsibilities, new or altered values and outlooks. This process of change does not end here, nor does your need to remain open-minded, critical, and prudent. What has been the point of these four years? Of these last twelve years? Have'you attended school to learn dates, to learn to read and write, to learn to type? All of these are important, but they do not in themselves justify the expenditure of money the people of this district have made. Can't they expect more from you? Can't they expect a development of personality, of character, of temperament that mark each of you as mature? Can,t they expect a measured, reasonable outlook on life, an adaptability in the face of change, a certain sense of optim- ism from you? You are their final product. What can they expect of you? Sincerely, MRS. EILEEN C. WUQLLE MRS. CORRINE P. WITTE R. O. Boudreau Secretary Secretary
