Junior-Senior One-Ac? Plag ROW 1: J. Peterson, L. Rott, S. Housner, L. French, Mrs. Oliver. ROW 2: Mrs. Hall, J. Urban, M Stanek, V. Anderson, P. Braithwaite, W. Hansbery. This year, instead of having a One-Act Play put on by each of the four classes, it was de- cided to have only two plays, one combining the Juniors and Seniors and the second made up of Freshmen and Sophomores. The Junior-Senior One-Act Play this year was entitled 'Lawyer Lincoln. This was a comedy which concerned an incident in the Life of Abe Lincoln while he was a young lawyer in Illinois. In the story, he brought two young people, Nate Beaseley and Keenie Jackson together and got Nate to propose. Lawyer Lincoln Sis Beaseley ---------- - - J. Peterson Keenie Jackson - - - -S. The Freshman-Sophomore One-Act Play was Just Women, a comedy with a setting during the early part of the Victorian period in England. Betty War- ren, a young attractive girl, came back to her home town community after at- tending a finishing school in London. She was greeted by many skeptical ladies who felt that she was too high classed. However, when they learned that she was to marry a member of the Parliament from their own region, they sudden- ly changed their tune. JUST WOMEN Mrs, Warren - - - -B. Kreidman Betty ----- - - L.
