1964 Homecoming Q , EX I y to Q... w .ff 5 1' The 1964 Homecoming began traditionally the night before the game with the stunts per- formed in the gymnasium, followed by the snake dance down to the bonfire where a giant pep rally was held. On Friday, October 30th, the parade started at 3:00 P.M. The winning floats were as fol- lows: First--the seventh grade classy Second--the Junior Classg and Third--the Senior Class. The F.F.A. and the F. H. A. received honorable mention. Westby won the big football game in the evening by a score of 27-13, but the spirit the boys showed on the field made the Hillsboro fans proud of their team. Following the game, the Homecoming dance was held with music furnished by the Night Lighters. The gymnasium was decorated to the theme of Autumn Leaves with a beautiful array of fall colors. The highlight of the evening came when Lyle Janousek was crowned King by Mr. Milfred, the football coach, and Miss Charlene Johnson was crowned Queen by Miss Andrea Hicketheir. Other court members included: Juniors, Tony Fronk and Miss Sandra Hous- nerg Sophomores, Curt Marshall and Miss Mary Fitchg and Freshmen, Dick Shold and Miss Jewel Harris. fz.a. , ..fY
